“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”. Kahlil Gibran
The last week of November went by just the same as the rest of the November weeks, fast..!
A pretty normal, uneventful week, which sometimes is much needed! We were told by Florence’s nursery that she’s settling in well and is no longer crying when I drop her off and we’ve been told several times that she’s incredibly sociable; I think this means she likes to chat! This photo of Florence was taken on a baking afternoon we had making Christmas biscuits together. She’s getting to be a good, confident little baker!
This week is mostly about the girls as Daisy helped run a presentation with a few year 6 girls on kindness. We were told that they really pulled together so many positive messages for the rest of school. Daisy’s kindness shines through at home often too (when she’s not fighting with her brothers) so we were very proud of her.
We ended this week with a lovely frosty walk at our local National Trust site. The light in the wood was just perfect and a sunny walk was very much what we all needed.
