Chocolate Caramel Rolo Fudge

A real fudgey chocolate slow cooker fudge recipe, made even more delcious with caramel and rolos.

Ingredients
  

  • 400 grams Chocolate - Mix 200g Dark chocolate and 200g Milk chcolate
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Caramel Dessert Sauce plus extra for drizzle
  • 1 large knob Butter
  • 1 tin Condensed milk (395g)
  • 16 Rolos

Method
 

  1. Line a 8x8 squared baking tin with baking paper. Switch slow cooker onto a low setting.
  2. Break up chocolate into small pieces
  3. Add all the ingrediants into the slow cooker / crockpot
  4. Leave the lid off the slow cooker and stir regularly until chocolate is melted and continue to stir every 15 minutes
  5. After 2 hours, pour fudge mixture into prepared tin and level out.
  6. Add 16 rolos on top of the fudge mixtire and drizzle with caramel sauce
  7. Chill the mixture for 2 hours
  8. Keep at room temperature in an airtight container and consume as soon as possible. The fudge will last for over a week in the container. The fudge can also be frozen in 2 layers of clingfilm or baking paper in a freezable container for up to 3 months.
