Simple Chocolate Brownie Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Plain flour
  • 3/4 cup Dark brown Muscovado Sugar
  • 1 cup golden caster sugar
  • 175g melted butter
  • 3/4 cup Cocoa
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 125 g dark and white choclate chips

Method
 

  1. Pre heat the oven to 160 fan oven 350 farenheit
  2. Line the whole tray with baking paper - leaving the paper to stand quite tall at the sides for lifting the brownies out of the tray.
  3. Melt the butter and stand to one side to cool slightly
  4. Place the sugars in the bowl. Smoothing out any big lumps of dark brown sugar.
  5. Add the plain flour and cocoa powder to the sugar mix
  6. Add in 3 eggs, vanilla extract and the melted butter and stir with a wooden spoon to combine the mixture together.
  7. Add in the chocolate chips or chunks
  8. Pour in the prepared tin and bake for 25 minutes
  9. Leave to cool for 5 minutes or slightly set and then lift the brownies with the paper out of the tin.
  10. Decorate with eggs and slice as desired.
