30 days wild 2022 with living arrows 24/52
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” We’ve had a very back to routine kind of week. I feel that I don’t have much to share as it’s been all school, work and lots of moving planning and organising. The kids when they haven’t been at school have been busy entertaining themselves, which is just what we all need some weeks!

They’ve spent lots of time in the garden, which is growing and blooming so much it makes me realise how quickly we’re hurtling towards the Summer, despite the fact it’s not really been that warm up here yet!

They’ve spotted quite a lot of wildlife over the past few days and keep coming to show us their finds! Their favourite insects this week have been a cockchafer and a wooly caterpillar. They have also helped rescue some long tailed tit fledglings, who had fallen out of their nest. They put them in a garden with the help of Dougie and made sure their mother was nearby to care for them.

I’m hoping we can spot a few more interesting finds for 30 days wild this coming week. If you’re looking for some wild activities do check out my post 30 things to do for 30 days wild.

Your children sound like the sweetest kids – I love that they looked after the birds. I keep thinking how fast the year is going – it’ll be autumn before we know it! x
I love that little caterpillar – great photo too. And the baby birds are lovely – I hope they were OK 🙂
