Christmas Holidays with Living Arrows 51/52

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”It was a relief to get to the Christmas Holidays with all the kids still at school. We’re certainly now all ready for lazy mornings, Christmas movies and lots of family time.

We started the holidays off nicely with lunch at Frankie and Benny’s. It was our first meal out as a family since the summer holidays and one of few family meals out where we have sat indoors this year!

We distracted ourselves away from the depressing news this weekend with a walk around York. We haven’t taken the kids into the City all year.

It was lovely to see the lights on a quiet Sunday evening. They loved visiting the shambles and having a potion slushy and also got a cake from Betty’s. It was the perfect way to start the Christmas weekend and a welcome distraction.

I know it’s a different Christmas holidays for many this year. I’m sending love to you all.
