Family Life with Living Arrows 11/52

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”. Kahlil Gibran. Celebrating the captures and moments of childhood and family life this week seems even more precious.

Family life this week with a photo of a Mum and daughter feeding a lamb.

This week I took Florence to a farm for a treat after having chicken pox. I’m sharing a rare snap of me on here, as this photo makes me smile. I really enjoyed feeding the lamb as you can tell, unlike Florence who took some convincing! She prefers all the daredevil slides and play barn equipment to touching the animals. I suppose when you’re 3 they can be quite daunting in size.

Family life with a photo of 3 children dressed in sports clothing

The children were pleased to have a non uniform day for sport relief, after missing out on dressing up for World Book Day. Teddy loved wearing Fin’s old football kit and Florence (not wanting to miss out) enjoyed wearing one over her dress for the school run!

Family life with a picture of a boy enjoying the wooda

Dougie and Teddy went on an explore together on Saturday. He came back very happy and filthy. He looks so grown up in the photos and came home excited to have spotted frogspawn.

They all look so happy in their photos. Glad they got to make up for Book Day and dressed up for Sport Relief instead! #LivingArrows

I really wanted to take the boys to see the lambs this year but I can’t see that happening. Hope you have had a good week and hope home schooling goes well x
