“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”. Kahlil Gibran. Family life this week was all about surviving the last week of term. I find this one of the hardest terms as there’s always lots of germs flying around and we’re always pretty exhausted. So I was relieved when we got to the end of the week with all of us healthy and just tired.
Teddy won star of the week so he was excited to get the class pet dragon, Fluffy, for the week. We always seem to get the class mascots when it’s the holidays but fortunately we have plenty of days out planned to share with his class. So after a quick wash of Fluffy, he was all set for his holidays with us and I’m just crossing my fingers we don’t lose him!
The reason for our trip to London was to celebrate my brother’s 50th Birthday. The girls really enjoyed socialising with family at the party.
The boys spent most of the weekend spotting expensive cars around the capital and ticking them off in their eye spy books.
We are excited to be spending some quality family time here sightseeing and then have a few nice days planned at home for the week. Hope you all have a lovely half term week.
