I know this is really late, as it’s now the end of the Easter holidays. We’ve had such a busy second week that I just never got around to writing last week’s post until now! Our first week of the Easter holidays was very chilled and mainly spent at home as we all needed a recharge plus half the family had a stomach bug.
Thankfully we did manage to catch up with friends and family which we’re really thankful for, after the last two years of restrictions.

The kids of course, enjoyed our annual garden Easter egg hunt. We played a game of re-hiding the eggs around the dining room at breakfast time and that kept us all entertained, as we thought up lots of tricky hiding places!
This photo was taken at the end of the day when they had been given bigger eggs from their Aunties and Uncles. They were all very happy with their chocolate stashes and as I type this the little two still have loads left. I wish I could say the same about the big ones, who have got through it all very quickly!
I hope you’ve all had a lovely Easter break and I will be back in under two days with our update from the second week of the holidays!

They all look very pleased with their spoils! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday and you’re ready for back to school tomorrow.
That picture of your kids is just beautiful. One for framing! So glad you had such a lovely Easter break x
