Happy New Year to all of you who keep up to date with our living arrows posts. For new readers these posts are a link up to Donna at ‘What the Redhead Said’ and her weekly blog link up, known as Living Arrows which is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” .
We saw 2019 in at my sister’s, so all the children just about saw the fireworks before we all collapsed into bed! Then they proceeded to have several days of their body clocks being out of sync and wanting to stay up a lot later. We may just put them to bed a lot earlier next New Year!
We managed to get the kids out for several long walks with this lovely dry January weather. This one I think shows their cheeky personalities well!
We had guests arrive all the way from deepest Devon, so we have been super busy showing them the sights of Yorkshire and hosting, my photo taking has been minimal, so I will leave it with this funny one of Flo trying Fin’s hat on, I think it suits her well!

Happy New Year! We played the boys a fake New Year count down at 8pm and they went to bed then! That last picture is so cute 🙂 #LivingArrows
