“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”. Kahlil Gibran
Thankfully our first full week of routine, school and work went by fine. It was good to try and get some normality back to the household. We all went back to school here on Monday, so with Flo at nursery the house was really quiet and I made the most of a peaceful coffee in between jobs.
With most of the kids’ clubs back on it’s been busy already. Teddy had his first piano lesson and I got to sit in on the first one. I had a tear in my eye watching him concentrate so well and try his hardest to play a tune. Over Christmas Daisy donated to a koala rescue centre in Australia and this has led to her Scout group holding a charity bake sale to raise more. So I will be getting my baking on later in the week and no doubt my little helper will be getting in on the act!
I only took the one proper photo this week when we braved the boggy garden. No wonder Florence was keen to sit on the swing rather than our flooded grass!
