Living Arrows 18~52

Living Arrows is a weekly bloggers link up kindly hosted by Donna at ‘What the Redhead Said’

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”. Kahlil Gibran

I can’t believe that we’re already into the summer term, this year is going far too fast for me, I can’t keep up! This week I focused on not doing a million tasks like I usually do on the first week of term, usually leaving myself overwhelmed.

So instead I split the day into getting a smaller to do list done and then set aside time to go outside and enjoy the dry weather with Florence.  We spent one afternoon at our local NT place having a picnic looking at nature, it was bliss.  It also meant I got several gorgeous picture of Florence around the blossom and bluebells.

We collected some blossom and brought it home for Florence to make perfume with.  Teddy also decided he would like in on the act so we had to go on a flower hunt so he could make a potion at the weekend.  Its kept them quite busy, although I’m not so sure that we will be using the sand filled perfume jars anytime soon!

if you missed last weeks link up, you can read it here

They’re such lovely pictures. I used to love making rose petal perfume with the roses in my Grandma’s garden when I was little – I don’t think anyone ever used it as perfume though! #LivingArrows
