The is the week where we said goodbye to the Summer holidays and hello to routine!  I’m not going to lie, I have found it really hard to get my motivation even after being pretty ready for some routine, so much so I have written another post all about my lack of mojo.   I have had some highlights this week and managed to remember to pick up my phone and capture them as I have tried a little bit of a break from technology this week.  This week Fin entered Year 9, this seems so crazy to me as I remember year 9 quite clearly, so I can’t believe my not so little boy is now there.  Daisy has started Year 6, her last year in primary school and so I’m cherishing this last year of having her with me on the school runs, I may need reminding of this when I have to ask her 5 times to put her shoes on!  Teddy started Year one and in our rather large primary school it was a bit daunting and he looked like a little rabbit caught in the headlights when I left him sat on the mat the first day.

He started Beavers this week and it was the first Beaver session in our village as it’s a new group, he’s so excited to follow his big brother and sisters cub scouting footsteps. He also received his first Blue Peter Badge for a letter he sent in over the summer, although with 8 each he has a long way to go to catch up with the big two!.

Florence seemed pretty happy to have all the attention this week whilst they were at school and looked so grown up when she posed for a picture on the school run.

We had a lovely day out with my friend this week. Florence enjoyed the playground and then going on a tractor ride and getting to choose a chocolate lollipop, she picked a tractor one.  She also was pleased to find some acorns and so she popped them in her little bag.  I love outings at this time of the year, September is one of my favourite months.
