Anyone else, like me, look to Pinterest for food ideas for Bank holidays and celebrations? Just makes it easier than looking through dozens of cookbooks, on the run up to the end of term, when I’m running out of time to find recipe inspiration. I’m going to share my Pinterest board ideas in case you’re also needing some inspiration.
I have gone for a few trusty recipes from last year- Paul Hollywood’s Hot Cross Buns Jamie Oliver’s delicious Lamb Casseroleand James Martin’s spring greens. Then there are a few additions of a delicious looking carrot cake Swiss roll, bunny bread rolls, healthy Easter egg breakfast pops and several savoury dishes; some veggie ones and a tasty fish dish. This food wishlist should be easy to achieve as long as I remember to pop all the ingredients on my shopping list and plan my time in the kitchen around the kids being off. We are mostly at home this holiday, so I’m hoping that this will be achievable.
