Simple Christmas Snack Mix Recipe for movies

After the success of sharing our Halloween snack mix recipe. I thought it only right that I share a simple Christmas snack mix recipe. This is a treat that can be enjoyed over the festive period and is especially good when having family movie time.

simple Christmas snack mix

Heads up that this is an indulgent treat and there is definitely nothing healthy about it! The Christmas snack mix recipe has a mixture of sweet and salty snacks plus a few hard candy sweets thrown in. We also used frosted Shreddies and Cadbury snowballs to give it a snowy look.

We made our recipe up for watching the premiere of The Christmas Chronicles 2 on Netflix and will be sharing our big bowl between all 6 of us. This snack mix will keep in a sealed tub for a few days if you wanted to make up a large amount but not eat it all in one sitting.

A bowl of Christmas snack mix of pretzels, popcorn and sweets

This simple Christmas snack mix recipe consists of 1 large bag of sweet and salted popcorn, 1 cup of Pretzels, 1/2 cup of frosted Shreddies (we prefer less of these but feel free to add more), 1 bag of M&Ms (using only the red and green ones) and 1-2 bags of Cadbury Snowballs.
