Terry’s Chocolate Orange Ultimate Slow Cooker Fudge

Terry's chocolate orange fudge slow cooker pieces on a plate

As I said in our previous Toblerone slow cooker fudge recipe, we have been busy in the kitchen with festive makes and bakes. After making our previous Terry’s Chocolate Orange Fudge Recipe, I wanted to come back with the ultimate slow cooker Terry’s Chocolate Orange Fudge recipe and this is definitely it. In fact Dougie who loves fudge the most in our house thins this is my best slow cooker fudge recipe so far.

Terry's chocolate orange fudge recipe with fudge pieces sat on a plate

This time I wanted to incorporate the white chocolate orange segments and so it got me thinking that a layer of white chocolate fudge would work well alongside a layer of chocolate orange chocolate.

Topped with the white chocolate orange segments, this fudge becomes a very decadent double layer of chocolate orange fudge heaven. Having the double layer means you have to make two separate batches of fudge but it’s honestly worth the wait for this festive treat. You also get very chunky pieces of fudge so a little goes a long way.

I cut the fudge into very generous chunks for photo purposes. Making the chunks slightly smaller is probably more treat wise!

A few useful notes to make

Make sure you stir every 10 -15 minutes and make sure the lid is taken off after 30 minutes of cooking.

The fudge is ready after 2 hours but we sometimes leave it overnight to chill to perfection.

I would love to hear how you get on making this recipe and if you get the fudge making bug then we also have the following slow cooker fudge recipes.

  2. Take the lid off after 30 minutes and cook for a further 1 hour. You need to be regular with stiring white chcolate fudge as it can catch and brown at the edges.

  4. Clean out the slow cooker / crockpot ready for the Chocolate Orange layer of fudge
  5. Place the Terry's Chocolate Orange, dark chocolate, 1 knob of butter and 1 tin of condensed milk into the slow cooker and cook on a low setting with the lid on for 30 minutes.
  6. Keep cooking with the lid now off for 1 hour, stirring every 10-15 minutes.
  7. Place the Terry's chocolate oange fudge mixture on top of the cooled white chocolate fudge recipe. Cool for 5 minutes and top with the Terry's white chocolate segments and refrigerate for 2 hours plus.
  8. Cut into chunks and enjoy!
