For all you garden lovers out there, you’ll be happy to know that there are a lot of fun and attractive ways to transform your garden. It does not matter what size your garden space is. Whether it is a small enclosed city space or a huge country expanse, there are tips and ideas for everyone. Maybe you can make a secret garden that promotes reflective thinking and relaxation. Or maybe you just want an outside space that is inviting for your friends and family. Whatever your tastes, here are a few things to get you thinking:

Make Use of Pots and Hanging Baskets

This may be an especially great idea if you have a small patio space in the middle of the urban sprawl, or even just a balcony. But hanging baskets up and dotting plant pots around can really add that much-needed life into your outside space. They are relatively easy to maintain and pretty cost-effective. The pots themselves are generally rather attractive looking, and with so much choice, you can really go for any style or theme that suits you.

Get Painting

If you have walls, fences and sheds that have seen better days then you should get out there and give them a lick of paint. You don’t have to go for the usual brown or whites colours either, you could choose jazzy block colours that are ideal for your taste, and this can enhance your these. What’s more, you could choose a garden wall mural which can really transform that outside space. You may actually feel as if you are in the Caribbean looking over the stunning crystal clear waters, or maybe you would prefer the feel of a forest. It’s all up to you, but the end result can be breathtaking. The kids will love this too.

Gravel

There are a wide variety of gravel types that you can purchase to jazz up those borders or create a pathway, for example. Just ensure you lay membrane underneath to avoid weeds ruining your hard work.

Awnings

Having garden awnings installed onto your house is a great way to use an outside space but benefit from the protection a roof can give you. In some cases, you may be able to open and close it, or you could choose a static awning. Whatever you choose, you can create a great sheltered space that is ideal for entertaining when you are not sure what the weather will be doing.

Pagodas

If your garden warrants it, a pagoda is a great way to make use of that outside space. You can simply cover it in hanging and creeping plants which gives your garden that magical and secret air. This is a great way to encourage the children outside as it looks like a lot of fun and is generally pretty child friendly being a solid feature. Pegoda can really lift your garden space and add that little je ne sais quoi. You could add a little water feature beneath to make it even more special. Transform Your Garden Space With These Tips
