We survived our last week of homeschool (we hope)! After kicking off the week a little bit stressfully with Teddy and his concussion it quickly did a u-turn as he thankfully bounced back well during Monday. He was literally bouncing off the walls with me pleading with him to sit still!

Flo went back for some preschool sessions this week, after a slightly nervous start she seems to be enjoying being back and this week sees her return for her normal sessions.
The big two carried on their home learning this week really diligently just like they have all of this lockdown. We’re really proud of their commitment and for keeping up learning on a screen in their bedrooms for weeks on end.
Teddy and I slacked off a little on homeschool week and cut lots of corners as our heart was just not in it anymore. We enjoyed some reading activities for world book day and we made a potato character. Honestly the things we do as parents that we would have never guessed pre kids we would have to do!

I will miss our chats and my little shadow but we’re both ready for him to talk the hind leg off his friends now instead of me!
Flo went back for some preschool sessions this week and after a slightly nervous start she seems to have settled back in nicely. This week sees her going back for her normal sessions and excited to see her best friend again.
I’m really ready to spend time with Florence on her own as she will be back to school come September. Although I have had lots of time in the past year with them all, I have felt my last year with Florence at home has been slightly hijacked by the pandemic.
I really hope that this week goes smoothly for all your little and big ones and you manage a peaceful coffee or two!

We definitely slacked off homeschool for that last week – and it definitely felt like a huge accomplishment surviving it all. I’m so pleased we’ve closed the door on school at home! x
I hope the return to school has gone smoothly and you’ve had some lovely time with Flo š
It was very odd having a quiet house! We also slacked off home schooling a bit too. I do feel like Harry has missed out because of the pandemic in his first year at school bless him. Love the photo of the five of you
