We seem to have broken up a week earlier than most of the country and so the end of term has just crept up in a flash! I’m partly pleased that we get a week to enjoy Finlay’s Birthday, with some time to chill whilst being able to get organised for the Easter Weekend, although I’m not so sure I will appreciate the longer summer term, when we go back a week earlier than most!
This end of term week saw me spend a lovely morning with Teddy at his Easter stay and play. He loved having his baby sister visit him and we got to make a yummy Easter cake together. This inspired me to get the Easter craft out for him at home and he was very pleased to make a bonnet independently with foam stickers etc.
Florence and I had a nice day out at RHS Harlow Carr with my oldest friend, we had a lovely walk with just the babies and even wrapped up and braved an outdoor picnic. I didn’t take any photos as just every so often it is nice to have some down time from my phone and camera.
Daisy enjoyed dressing up for sport relief on the last day of term and this gave her a good reason to get up early and dress in her old Lancashire gymnastics outfit. Seeing her being enthusiastic to go to her new school is so refreshing after a wobbly first term settling in there.
The kids and I were very pleased to have that last alarm go off and look forward to the Easter activities and chocolate coming our way!
You have a beautiful family Charlotte! I love keeping up with you and your family. Daisy, you do look rather fantastic! I think it’s bizarre how the school holidays are all different for the different areas. But also it can be good when going on days out. I know when going to calypso cove in Doncaster, their term times are different which makes it less busy. Enjoy the weekend before the madness of school routines start again xx
