Farm Days and Play Days

Living Arrows 2018 (21/53)

“You are the bows from which your children  as living arrows are sent forth”. Kahlil Gibran

Last week was spent at our local farm twice.  It’s been years since we have had a lovely farm close by to visit.  So, armed with annual passes for me and the littles we have made the most of playing in sand, corn, hay and feeding the animals.

Florence just loves the chickens and the freedom of walking everywhere.  In this pic she was delaying seeing some of the bigger animals, as she’s still not sure, so was staying in the safety of the chicken coop.

We had a weekend of play days in the garden where we’ve been busy making the garden more fun!  The kids loved the royal wedding day and our family afternoon tea.  This picture sums up the day as they were tired, grubby, covered in sun cream and ice cream marks.

Lastly a fun instagram pic debating the old cream and jam toppings on scones.  I’m originally from Devon, so it’s cream then jam for me, and it’s just far prettier to look at this way!
