Homeschool is out for Summer with Living Arrows 29/52.

You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”. Kahlil Gibran Homeschool is out for Summer at last! I am feeling so proud of the children for how far they (and I) have come on our homeschool journey. We shall all remember this time in history that’s for sure. I have also found it lovely to watch others on their own homeschool journeys through social media and on the living arrows weekly blog post updates.

Last day of Primary school

I have a confession, homeschool was out for summer early this week as we only did a little bit of work on Monday. Daisy enjoyed her last day at primary with a class celebration of which I am very emotional about! We also had Dougie’s parents visit this week so we have been busy catching up with them and getting organised for Teddy’s birthday at the weekend.

A joy opening birthday presents

Teddy had a lovely day. We had a camping theme to his birthday as we are going camping this week and even the cake had a campsite on it! Teddy was so content to spend the day with his toys and eating his favourite food; smoked salmon, olives, avocado and pizza. He has good food taste unlike his siblings! We were fortunate that Teddy’s best friend could come for a quick Birthday play in the garden and they didn’t let the rain ruin their fun, in fact it added to it!

I also love this picture of Flo on Sunday tucking into leftover birthday cake very regally. She clearly loves cake just as much as we all do!

I hope you have all had chance to breathe now homeschool is out for summer? I look forward to seeing everyone’s Summer activities and adventures over the coming weeks.
