June for Team Stein means 30 days wild

30DAYSWILD_ID3 blackTwo years ago we took part in 30 days wild and posted a photo everyday on instagram. Last year with a young baby and Dougie working away I struggled to keep up with taking part. This year we have decided to take part, as Teddy is so interested in all sorts of wildlife and nature, so it will be a great activity for him to be involved with.
We were lucky that the 1st of June coincided with pond dipping at our local NT site, so we got to see amphibians up close as well as spot lots of nature and wildlife.

What we love about 30 days wild is it encourages you to search out more nature than you would normally and I learn new things along with the children. You can get ideas from their website and look at social media under #30dayswild for ideas of nature spotting/activities. You can also receive a pack in the post or download and print one from home. We have our tick chart on the fridge ready for Teddy to tick off.
I will update you weekly on what we’re doing and would love to hear all about what you get up to over June if you’re also taking part.
