Living Arrows 40/52 (2021)

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Well what a week we’ve had! On returning from London last week, we’ve had illnesses, PCR tests and yes unfortunately Covid. We have half the house isolating feeling unwell and the other half feeling fine with negative results. It’s been a struggle to keep us in two different camps as the youngest wants to bounce around from the positive group to the negative group!

As you can imagine there has been pretty much no photo taking as we have been on survival mode! I think I have only managed to snap this one of nurse Florence. She spent the week at home as she was full of cold and I was worried it could develop into more with the positive results we had already had. She has however kept everyone distracted and we have played umpteen Orchard games, several jigsaws and had enough screen time for the whole of October!

We seem to be over the worst of it now (fingers crossed) and we’re looking forward to isolation ending later this week so everyone can get back to school, work and go for a lovely long walk.

I wanted to document this here, as Living Arrows has become our family diary. I know we will look back and remember these days of isolations and lockdowns and read through these weekly posts. I will also add that we are thankful that we had just a few poorly days and hopefully nothing more than that.

Oh you poor things! I hope you are all okay now and back out of isolation. And that the negatives haven’t become the positives. I am sure it is going to happen here at some point. Its enviable. Hopefully that’s your turn now and you are done with it. Sending hugs x

Covid just seems rife now. Three out of the four of us have now had it and so many people we know have had it too. I hope you’re all feeling better x
