43/53 Living Arrows
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”. Kahlil Gibran
I can’t jazz up my week, it’s been solo and really tough. The results of a long term, temperatures, sore throats, a lack of sleep and children that are incapable of listening. Then after all that challenging behaviour comes that mum guilt, but this week I have just had to be firm. Being bad cop when you’re the only one here to parent can be relentless and make you feel like the fun police. I’m looking forward to a few calmer days whilst the 3 of them are in school to refuel me ready for half term next week. If you see me in the next few days I will be the one with the big eye bags and a few extra grey hairs!

Oh dear – I hope you make it to the weekend and half term helps everyone feel better 🙂 #LivingArrows
Oh no, sounds like it was tough. I struggle with the same when my husbands away. Hope half term is kinder to you xx #livingarrows
It sounds like you really need half term to come – and I hope it’s a good one! x
I hope you’re a little more relaxed with the kids back at school. Solo parenting is tough! #LivingArrows
Yes thank you! The last week or so has improved loads ☺️
