Living Arrows 48/52 Inset Day and More Time at Home

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Welcome back to my weekly Living arrows post. It’s been a very quiet week filled with lots of household and work jobs this week. I have been spending even more time in the house as Daisy’s school bubble had to self isolate this week due to a confirmed case. It was also inset day on Friday which meant we had 3 out of 4 children at home.

It’s been really lovely having some one to one time with Daisy. I could get on with work whilst she was doing school work and then we have come together to do a few Christmas activities. Daisy really enjoyed helping me with some Christmas content which came in really handy. I have to say she did negotiate some pocket money for helping me out with jobs around the house, showing an enterprising side to her, which no doubt she learnt from her elder brother.

I managed to get out for a walk in a local Woodland trust wood with Teddy on Inset day. It was lovely to escape being cooped up at home for a while and spend some time with just him.

Creating content was one of our favourite activities during the original lockdown – the children loved helping me make things and photograph them! x

Sounds like a lovely week. Hope the self isolation went okay. I must admit Charlie has worked out he can get a little extra pocket money in return for content! I struggle to spend one on one time with the boys.

These are both lovely pictures. It’s so nice when you manage to get one on one time with the children isn’t?
