Living Arrows ~ 53/53

First up a little look back at my first ever Living Arrows blog post on week 5. I may have missed out on posting a few living arrows weekly link ups but on the whole I managed a lot and so I now have a collection of lovely family photos and memories on here to look back on. I have also enjoyed seeing the host of the Living Arrows link ups, Donna from ‘What the Redhead Said’ seeing her children grow over the year and also others who regularly join in with the linky.

My first photo is an old one from my first living arrows of the year and it was this picture. This day has really stuck in my mind. We had spent the whole of January organising and moving home, so this was our first trip out to explore the local area. We were all a bit tired and grumpy and had been having a disagreement as the kids weren’t listening. We brought them together for this photo and some flapjack and they then played happily after that in the playpark. It really did blow the cobwebs away and I had this exciting feeling that we had some lovely places to explore in our new home.

Moving on to now, we’ve had some fun filled festive days. As always it’s exhausting having all 6 of us at home, and we have definitely felt like children’s entertainers at times. But we have on the whole had a lovely balance achieved of days out and chilled out time at home. My favourite snatched moments are in these two photographs.

Firstly Teddy was obsessed with tracking Santa on Google on Christmas Eve and kept checking the sky for his sleigh. He really was captivated by the magic this year.

Lastly after not spending much time taking photos on Christmas Day, I managed to have some quiet time with the little two whilst they were waiting for dinner. They couldn’t wait to pull their crackers and see what was inside. It’s the simple things that they just love.
