Living Arrows 5~53 Team Stein

5/ 52 Living Arrows

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”. Kahlil Gibran

With the chill we’ve had this week, we’ve been busy doing some indoor activities. Florence is also now really starting to enjoy being involved in craft and baking activities. And us always asking to ‘help’ or do ‘some mixing’.

So we made some bird feeders for the hungry winter birds, Flo especially enjoyed making one big bird cake as she got to just spoon it all in and pat it down into a big pie dish!

Florence was also pleased to have play dough out most of the week. It was one of my family goals for the year, to have more crafting activities at hand. She especially enjoyed making playdough birthday cakest!

Lastly we did get out at the weekend for a very chilly but beautiful walk. Made more pleasant with a flask of tomato soup and rolls for lunch!

The weather has been far too cold to get excited about going out. Although I did realise that its starting to get lighter now in the evenings. Good idea on the tomato soup I never think about things like that! xx

The weather has been really cold lately and I was actually looking for more indoor activities ideas. So lovely that you have such a good helper in the kitchen 🙂
