“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” It’s beginning to look like Christmas as we pick our Christmas tree, put the decs up and do a few Christmas tree themed activities!
This week was possibly the most hectic we’ve had in the past few months and that is saying something! I had the majority of my play dough orders to finish off, lots of post office runs were made and cardboard packaging was in every corner of the house! In between my play dough madness, the kids kept us busy as well of course! Teddy had earache so needed a day off school and Daisy had her school production of Animal Farm which she performed twice.
As Teddy was off on Friday and we had planned to go and pick up our tree, we decided he could just come with us (thanks to the wonders of Calpol!).

He really enjoyed getting to pick the tree with us and of course some sneaky quality time with both of us.
Over the weekend we got the decorations up in the house and the kids decorated the tree on Sunday. Although I have to admit I have spent some time rearranging it today, as 4 baubles on one branch isn’t a look that I’m after!

Teddy and Florence enjoyed decorating a play dough Christmas tree with my pick a pine tree play dough kit. Daisy and I also tried out making nature Christmas tree crafts for some Christmas blog content and they looked really effective. I found it nice to switch off, forget about doing jobs for a change and enjoy crafting with just my own children.

Going into this week it seems a little less pressure than recent previous weeks and hopefully more festivities to enjoy.
