“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” We are having another typical quiet February weekend . We are even more exhausted than last weeks, and so very ready for a break. I will be glad when the holidays have arrived so I can write about more than how tired and run down we all are!
Although this week was a very quiet one we did kick it off with the start of a big life change! Dougie had his last day in Army uniform. He’s officially out in May as he now has a few months to go through some resettlement courses etc ready for Civvy life. It’s going to be all change this Summer!

Back to this week and we popped to see my mum for her Birthday. My mum is still resting her sore foot, so it was a low key Birthday. We took her cake and some presents and the kids played some games there. Fin was trying to sort out her tech problems whilst he was there. She has an iPhone and an iPad but never knows what to do with updates etc..!

On Sunday we spent the whole day in the house bar a quick dog walk in the heavy rain. I snapped this one and I think it sums up the mood well!

In the afternoon I gave Florence’s kitchen a Valentine’s cafe makeover for her and my childminding mindees to play with this week. She loved the makeshift table and Daisy entertained her for a while with it.

That’s all from us, on this very damp and grey February weekend!
