The Bear Trail with Living Arrows 29/52 (2022)

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” Welcome back and yes I have impressed myself with being prompt with my post this week! We visited the bear trail yesterday for a pre-birthday surprise for Teddy. It’s actually his birthday today (Monday) so we celebrated with a family day out, as 3 out of 4 are in school tomorrow.

I chose the bear trail, as we call him Bear and he is pretty bear mad! The bear trail is a series of obstacles with lots of mud and water, fab for families with age gaps like ours.

Adults also need tickets so we did take part on some of the obstacles. I managed to get covered in muddy water after trying out a fun water slide, which the kids thought was brilliant!

We really haven’t had much time to relax and giggle, so this was the perfect way to bring us altogether and also make a fuss of Teddy, so he feels special. Thankfully the outdoor cafe was in the shade. We treated ourselves after our muddy workout to pizza and chips with cold fizzy drinks. We used the shower facilities so we got to eat our lunch without being caked in mud!

I thoroughly recommend the bear trail, and we will most definitely return with friends when they come to visit us.
