“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”. Kahlil Gibran. Family life this week has definitely been less eventful than it was last week! We have all enjoyed the Yorkshire sunshine which just makes such a difference to everything! It does however make me want to start spring cleaning when I see the dust and cobwebs that I have missed over Winter.
I have spent some lovely quality time with Flo whilst she recovered from her chicken pox. We had a few quiet days at home whilst she was wiped out, which meant managed to catch up on the washing from the weekend. It was lovely to see the washing hanging from the line, sometimes it’s the simple things that I appreciate. Towards the middle of the week we had some lovely afternoons out. We popped to our local national trust property and she kept asking me to take her picture to show everyone at dinner time where she had been.
Our primary school had an inset day on Friday. Finlay was at the hospital in the morning and all went well, it’s a week after his accident and his arm seems to be setting fine. After he was dropped off at school we took the 3 of them to Castle Howard playground for an afternoon play. They saw a few people from school there and we had a picnic lunch by the lake. It was so good to see the daffodils starting to come out, Spring is on its way! 
Daisy has also been perfecting my brownie recipe and so we ate a few of them that afternoon!
Lastly I really love this photo of Teddy who lost his tooth this week, he really gets the giggles a lot at the moment and his face just comes alive when he does! It’s been so lovely to get an extra day off this weekend. I would love the school / working week to be 4 days long.

Sounds like a great week with lots of out doors time spent together. Getting out side really makes all the difference I hope we will be able to still do it next week. Even with a socially accepted distance!
