We have finally finished for Easter and I breathed a sigh of relief for a break from the morning rush around.

This week was an important week for Teddy at school, he won the Principal’s award for having consistently good behaviour. This meant he went to cook school to help make afternoon tea and then got to eat said afternoon tea with the Principal and the other children who were selected this term. We are very proud of him and now all that’s left is for him to emulate this good behaviour at home.
We enjoyed visiting the local Circus this week, gifted in exchange for a review. It was great family entertainment for us all and a lovely way to kickstart the holidays.

This weekend we had a fairly chilled out time filled with a few jobs and two children’s parties. We did manage a family walk and play with the kids on Saturday afternoon although the wind was very chilly. We also took all the kids to one of the parties as it was at an indoors/outdoors play centre, so we took the opportunity to exercise them all whilst the party was in full swing.

It was back to school for us following a fortnight off today – it’ll be nice to get back into a routine.
Well Done Teddy on winning the award! What a way to recognise positive behaviour and work. My boys school have an “honours award” but other than a certificate there isn’t any other reward.
