The first week back to routine and by the end of it, it felt like we had been back to routine for far longer than 5 days! I think we all secretly enjoyed being back to our normal routine albeit getting up and out the door was emotional!
We started the week with some fresh air and it was so good to feel sunshine on our faces. I love this picture of Daisy surrounded by greenery and light.
As the week went on we ended up spending more time indoors having to catch up on life laundry, kids clubs and homework etc. We had another new club added to the list, as we were pleased that Daisy got to join a new gymnastics club and seeing her smiley face was definitely worth the trek to the gymnasium! I was also grateful this week for having some much needed days at home with some down time squeezed in to sit and play one to one with Florence. I sometimes forget just how much they love playing with me rather than one of their siblings.
Your routine sounds like ours – busy! The start of term has been absolutely exhausting for us x
