Back to routine and I think we were all ready for it, well I was this time. Although I know that this term is a long busy term, so I’m sure I will be willing the holidays on in a few weeks time!
Florence and I have had some quality time this week and have enjoyed going to swimming lessons, a picnic and a play in the park and a cafe lunch date with Grandma. I love this photo of her patiently waiting for her lunch to arrive. 
This cafe has a lovely little play area and is next to a farmers field that Florence said had bear hunt grass.
You really feel that time is short on a weekend after you’ve had a week off and so squeezing garden jobs, clubs and being with the kids meant I haven’t really achieved any photos of the other three, apart from this quick snap of Daisy who is becoming a mini blogger in doing a book review for one of my book posts. She is really enjoying reading and reviewing some of the books we are kindly sent. It’s also helping her with her comprehension and typing skills, so I have been impressed with how keen her and Finlay are to help out.

That photo of Florence at the table is just the cutest! It’s so lovely to have one on one time isn’t it?
It really is. It’s something I have to remind myself over the busy weeks, to just stop and spend time alone with each of them x
I can’t wait for Monkey to be old enough to write reviews! The picture in the wheat field is gorgeous. I loose track of everything this half term and it doesn’t help we are away for a couple of weeks visiting family… x
