Living Arrows 26~52

June 30, 2019

How can it be that we’re now half way through 2019, it seems like only yesterday I was typing my first one for 2019. It really is special that Donna from What the Redhead hosts this link up, as being able to look back on all the small things over the year is pretty special. Now onto week 26~52! It was a little tiring for the kids this week, I think it’s that point In the busy Summer term. I know I’m feeling it, from all the various assemblies, sports day etc that are filling the calendar. We were lucky enough to recharge at the end of the week with an Inset Day and so took the opportunity for a quiet cinema trip to watch Toy Story 4. We were happy to have Dougie back from Germany this weekend and spent the weekend enjoying the better weather and having a bbq. As it’s been such a busy week, I haven’t managed to get any photos other than one of Florence playing in the garden. She has been unwell for the past few days and managed to perk up for a little play outside.

I couldn’t resist also sharing this self portrait of Teddy I got to see at open doors, I’m pretty impressed with his artistic skills for a 5 year old!

Woah, Teddy’s self portrait is amazing! Better than anything I could have certainly done. Clever boy! Love catching up on what you and the gang have been up to and so nice for you to look back on. X

Thank you Bethanie, it’s very much appreciated. My 3 are very arty and they certainly didn’t get it from me haha xx

So pleased Florence is feeling better and that portrait is lovely! I think you’ve summed up Living Arrows really well – even if no-one joined in I’d still do it every week as I just love having these posts to look back on x

  4. Lovely capture of the bubbles glad she’s feeling better. Yes I would be super impressed too! You could have a budding artist on your hands there x
