“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”. Kahlil Gibran
This week saw the first week of our Summer holidays. This week’s pictures were taken on days where we were out and about. We also had time at home to try and get a bit of a balance and for me to catch up on work and home. Not sure I completely succeeded but I think the first week always takes a bit of getting used to.

We had a trip back to Lancashire and the kids got to see some of the places we used to see/go to often.
We also had a dip in the North York Moors open air pool to cool down in the midst of the heatwave.
Then Sunday saw us head off on our holiday or ‘road trip down south’ as we’re calling it, and when we reached our first stop in Surrey we all had a lovely walk with my brother and sister in law.
We enjoyed hearing the crickets and we walked around the edge of McLaren Headquarters which the boys were really impressed with. A lovely start to our holidays.

I love the picture of them walking through the field – such a natural and beautiful shot.
I had no idea you were coming down to our neck of the woods – I hope you’ve had a wonderful road trip break! x
I hope you are having a lovely break I was watching it on your stories. I would love an outside pool near us, so much fun in the heat xx
It sounds like a lovely first week – Blackpool is my home town and there seems to have been so many people visiting recently, hope you had fun! #LivingArrows
