Living Arrows 33~52

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”. Kahlil Gibran

The last week of our holidays came and went in a flash. The week we were most looking forward to, as we were camping in our favourite area of Devon. 3 children sat outside a tent eating I managed to get 3 matching sets of thermal pjs but couldn’t find Fin a pair, which I’m sure he was relieved about!

Due to the high winds and rain we had to put off camping for a few days and so lost out on a few beach days. This meant we really wanted to make the most of the days we had down in Salcombe, so we had a few later afternoons down at the beach, which were just perfect.

We have a favourite cafe down there in a quieter area which serves the best pancakes ever! We have taken a photo of all of them each time we have visited. Unfortunately just before this picture was taken Dougie slipped off the wall and damaged his foot and wrist, so the last few days have meant that we’ve all had to muck in to make up for his lack of mobility. The kids have really shown us how helpful they can be and I have realised just how much he actually does for us!

You can find last week’s Living Arrows here, in case you missed it. I can’t believe we’re now into the last chunk of the Summer Holidays already!

I love the matching pyjamas! It sounds like you had a fab camping trip (apart from the injuries) – taking our boys camping is definitely on the list for next year! #LivingArrows
