6/52 Living Arrows
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”. Kahlil Gibran
The past week has gone by pretty calmly thankfully. Although Teddy is starting to show signs of end of term fatigue and we still have another 2 weeks to push! Daisy packed up her bags for the weekend and went off to cub camp. Fortunately for her she was sleeping indoors this time, unlike her big Scout brother who will be outside next weekend. She came back with tales of outdoor games and fell asleep in the car, so a good sign she had a fabulous time. Finlay had a sleepover at a friend’s house, so we got some time with just the little ones. It meant that they got to do all the simple things that they love such as watching CBeebies, painting and a puddle welly walk. It also meant that we got to put the littles to bed early, and had a longer grown up evening together.

They are both very hard at work! #livingarrows
What a beautiful photo. Nice to get some evening time together. Thankfully our half term starts at the end of this week as Monkey is really ready for it. As am I!!
I bet, enjoy your half term x
It’s always a good sign that they’ve had a great time if they fall asleep on the way home isn’t it! Lovely photo! x #LivingArrows
It’s lovely to be able to get quality time with all of the children – especially if they are at different ages/stages! Looks like they enjoyed the walk
It’s hard to please them all of the time but I find being outside it’s much easier to keep the peace! X
That photo is beautiful! I need to do more outdoor activities with the children x
Thank you Donna xx
