Sports Day Fun with Living Arrows 26/52 (2022)

This week has been about Sports Day for the younger two. This was our first invite to school since 2019 as well as our first Sports day watching Teddy, which is crazy when he’s in year 3! The kids were very excited for the event, which shine through by their loud cheers for each other. It was such a big turnout and it was clear that everyone was really pleased to be taking part after the last few years.

As it’s such a big school they can only do a couple of races each. Teddy did skipping and relay and was very happy when he came first in skipping! Florence also had sports day this week and threw herself into every event with gusto. Their event was run slightly differently due to their age and it was just so cute to watch! They all walked out to the Chariots of Fire music which made me feel a little emotional, mainly because I have had an emotional week on the run-up to our move this coming week!

Other than sports days we have had a busy few days sorting the house out amidst the boys having small leaving parties on consecutive days. We really could do with another day to relax and recover but this week will be the most hectic of all the June weeks which is saying something as they have all been full on and gone by in a flash!
