“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” It feels like this year the Autumn leaves are a little later and now all of a sudden the wonderful burnt oranges and yellows are starting to come through. I love seeing the beautiful display of leaves outside the front of our house, it makes me want to make the most of lots of lovely walks before the cold weather sets in.

We visited Piglets farm again this weekend and with that the kids got another free pumpkin. We now have a pumpkin for every member of our family! Teddy wanted a ghost pumpkin and the girls were tasked with finding one for Finlay as he hasn’t joined us for picking this year. I was pleased with the quality of the pumpkins this year. There was some real beauties, thanks to the relatively dry weather we’ve been having up here.

On Sunday, Florence and I went for a walk behind our house. she dressed as a witch so I could get some photos of her in her costume in the woods.

I snapped a few photos of her walking home on a thin carpet of crisp leaves. It was a really lovely half an hour chatting away with her and she managed to convince me to give her a chocolate lollipop for being a compliant model!
I’m now really looking forward to some slow, chilled days during half term without the rush of the school run and the endless admin of packed lunches, uniform and school emails. I have quite a bit of work to do for my play dough business, I’m hopeful that I can find a good balance of work and family time for the week. I hope you all have a lovely half term.

Ahhh these are lovely photos she looks great dressed as a witch. I hope you have managed to get the juggling act sorted over half term it is not easy. And yay for pumpkins love the white one.
Aww Flo is so cute! Hope you’ve had a lovely half term – despite the rubbish weather!
This looks like such a lovely day out! We don’t really do Halloween or pumpkin picking so I love seeing everyone else’s photos x
